Good morning families! We hope you are enjoying your Thanksgiving break so far. Just a reminder that the office will be closing today Wednesday November 24th at 3PM. We will also be closed on Thursday and Friday so that our staff can enjoy some much deserved time with their families. As always if you have an urgent need, the nurse line will be available to help. Please remember this is for urgent needs and routine medications and questions will need to wait until we open at 8 AM on Monday. We hope everyone can have a great Thanksgiving and be able to enjoy time with your families!

Good morning families! As most of you know, the Covid 19 vaccine is now approved for children 5-11. We have been getting many phone calls about the vaccine. We are currently unable to provide them in our office as we are not a state funded vaccine provider. We have applied for this but it is a lengthy process. If you wish to get your child vaccinated, we have listed several resources. We will also keep you updated if we can start to provide this at our office. Please know that most facilities will not have the vaccine available until this weekend, but you can go ahead and sign up for your child’s appointment.
National Vaccine Finder: Use vaccines.gov to find a location near you, then call or visit their website to make an appointment.
Many of the CVS and Walgreens stores will also offer the vaccine. The appointments are very easy and convenient. You simply use your zip code to find the closest store and sign up on the website.
Americans can also text their ZIP code to GETVAX (438829) in English or VACUNA (822862) in Spanish to immediately receive address of nearby available vaccination centers.

For the convenience of our patients, we schedule visits by appointment only. SGH Pediatrics offers convenient office hours. Currently, we are only accepting newborns as new patients.
There is nothing more exciting and potentially overwhelming as finding your child's first physician. There are so many questions and concerns to discuss with your pediatrician.
During this winter season we are not currently taking any mom-to-be-consultations. Thank you for your understanding
