March 8, 2021

Hello! I hope you have all been able to get outside this weekend and soak up some sunshine.  What a difference a few weeks can make!  This past week has been turbulent for many of us with the announcement of the end of the mask mandate.  There are strong feelings on both sides.  I would really just want to remind everyone to be respectful of others and their wishes as each person and family has different circumstances.

In that spirit, I would like to address our office policy and protocols.  We have had great success in safely providing medical care for both sick and well children during this pandemic.  We have adjusted a few things since this started back last March.  But there have been a lot of changes that have worked well.

We would still like for you to call from the parking lot when you arrive so that we can take you right back to your room.  We do have some space in the lobby but as most of you know it is not a large area so only two families at a time can maintain social distance.  We will still ask abbreviated screening questions at each visit.

Please remember we are a medical facility and masks will still be required at the office.  I hope there is a day where this will not be the case, but for now this is still the safest way for us to continue patient care.  Please also know this is a recommendation of the Texas Medical Board so even with all the different opinions, this is something we must still have in place.  We appreciate all of you and thank you for trusting us to take care of your children. It is still the best job we could have!!

Welcome!

Dr. Stacey Gibson-Hull founded SGH Pediatrics as a solopractioner. The practice was founded upon the principle of providing excellent care to children, adolescents and their families. It is our goal to maintain a small family-oriented office environment and meet the needs of each patient and family.

Our practice offers comprehensive care from infancy to young adulthood. Our services are designed to ensure the healthy development of each child by:

  • Screening for health conditions

  • Administering immunizations against common illnesses

  • Counseling parents on nutrition, safety, and other important topics

  • Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic illnesses

Whether it’s your child’s first visit, or just a routine well-child checkup, we strive to make sure you and your child are always comfortable and informed.  We take the time to talk with parents and care givers to help you understand your child’s needs, and we equip you with the knowledge necessary for promoting a lifetime of optimal health and wellness.

To help you get acquainted with our practice, we have provided important information you need on our website.  Please browse these pages to learn more about Dr. Stacey Gibson-Hull, services provided, office details, commonly asked questions, new patient forms and to request an appointment.

We believe that exceptional care is obtained when there is an on-going relationship between the doctor, staff, patient and family.  We want to be partners in your child’s healthcare.  We achieve this goal by listening to your questions and concerns, and educating you on how to promote a healthy lifestyle for the entire family.

When you choose SGH Pediatrics, you can feel confident that you are teaming with a knowledgeable, compassionate physician and staff who have dedicated their careers to child-focused healthcare.  Please do not hesitate to contact our office with questions or concerns.

Vaccines are the safest way to protect you, your children and your community from a long list of serious and potentially life-threatening illnesses.

For the convenience of our patients, we schedule visits by appointment only. SGH Pediatrics offers convenient office hours. Currently, we are only accepting newborns as new patients.

There is nothing more exciting and potentially overwhelming as finding your child's first physician. There are so many questions and concerns to discuss with your pediatrician.
